Celebrating The Uncertainty of Intimacy.
Marcus Kirsch is a Royal College of Art alumni, award-winning and best-selling author, artist and thought leader. Over nearly 30 years, he has explored the human body’s physicality and its behaviour within its cultural context. His inspirations come from an ecclectic level of experiences and observations. He has been a gymnast, skateboarder, capoeirista, climber, ballroom dancer all expanding what it means to challenge oneself and express in physicality. The philosophy that body and identity are one thing stems from his childhood experience with psychosomatic allergies. His work reflects on the connection between body and mind, its sacredneness and the uncertainty present, when we engage with each other.
